Lara Dedmon M.S., CCC-SLP Licensed and Certified Speech/Language Pathologist Lara has been a Speech-Language

Largo Florida area. She has
worked as a clinician in Rehab. settings as well as in Assisted Living Facilities. Lara was the Rehab. Director for a few
years in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Safety Harbor Florida.
When she and her husband decided to begin to start a family, she decided that she needed to cut back on work and chose
to step down from a management position. She and her husband moved from Largo
to Brooksville to start their family. They had twins, Jake and Emma, in 2003. Lara began working part time as a
clinician in a Rehab. Facility in Brooksville. As her children grew she decided that she wanted to make a change and begin
working with children instead of the geriatric population. She began working in a pediatric clinic in Crystal River in 2006. Then, as luck
would have it, a new opportunity with Superior Therapy Services opened up for her this June, 2008. "I am so excited
to be able to continue the adventure of working with children AND be able to work within my own community. It
is truly a gift to be able to work with these wonderful children and to now be able to focus on working with
dyslexic children is an added bonus!".
