 Superior's Therapy Staff:

 Master's level Speech/Language Pathologists who are licensed by the State of Florida and Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 

Bachelor's level Speech/Language Pathology Assistants who are licensed.

(All Therapists have had a background check through the Citrus &/or Hernando County School Boards, meeting all of the government criteria under the Jessica Lundsford Act.)

 Debbie is the owner and president of Superior Therapy Services, Inc. and Administrator of Early Intervention Services. She has been Certified and Licensed as Speech/Language Pathologist for over 22 years.  Debbie is also a pediatric and adult Swallowing Specialist.  Deborah is a Certified Dyslexia Testing and Treatment Specialist in addition to a Certified Orton-Gillingham Barton Tutor at the advanced level.  She is a Certified Early Interventionist who specializes in birth to three-year old developmentDeborah is a provider of the Making Math Real methodology from Berkeley University.  Additional credentials include Education Advocate, whose services she provides through the Law Office of Mark Kamleiter, Special Education and Law Advocacy (SELA).  Deborah has received training and continuing education in areas such as Lindamood Bell, Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Integration, Special Education Law and Advocacy, Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing and Voice (FEES)and Adult Neurology and is a Certified Neuro-biofeedback Technician 

Deborah is married with two children.  She is passionate about the services she provides to her clients.  Deborah also works diligently to make sure that her therapists and and interventionist maintain the same integrity and quality of care that she expects of herself.

Emily has been a licensed Speech/Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) since 2005.  She also is a Certified Barton Tutor at the advanced level for Superior's Tutoring Services.  Emily was a certified teacher in Early Childhood Education.  She worked as a private in-home tutor for Pensacola, Florida's Club Z! from 1999-2000.  She began tutoring for Club Z! in Orlando, Florida in 2003, at which time she provided in-home private tutoring for Orange County's Supplemental Education Services (SES) for No Child Left Behind.

"I want to use my experience and training as a certified reading specialist to educate the children and parents in strategies to help them overcome their reading and spelling difficulties."

Tia Cuyler B.S., SLPA

Tia is orginally from Jacksonville, Florida.  She moved to Orlando, Florida to acquire formal education in Communicative Disorders.  Tia has been working directly with students providing speech/language services but not limited to since 2004. She has worked as a Speech Therapist in both Duval and Orange County School Districts. She is a Licensed Speech/Language Pathology Assistant and a Certified Barton Tutor. She takes pride in her work and continues to strive to make "the difference" with her students

    Amanda graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She worked for two years as a speech therapist in the school system before transferring to the private practice in 2013. Amanda is a licensed speech/language pathology assistant and a certified Barton tutor. Amanda is also an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) working with children birth to three years of age in their most natural environment.

     Christina is a two time graduate of Florida State University, with a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Christina is a certified Dyslexia Treatment Specialist as well as a VitalStim therapy provider. She has clinical experience and knowledge working with children in both the school and private sector as well as working with adults and geriatric patients in skilled rehab.
